Dr. Max Peiffer focuses on general Energy Law and the Law of Renewable Energies. He has already reviewed diverse network connection constellations with regard to network charges and grid connection costs. He has intensive experience in the enforcement of network connection and network access rights in the area of gas and electricity. In addition, he has carried out numerous legal assessments of energy projects for the purposes of optimizing the economic efficiency and clarifying the eligibility of renewable energy remuneration. Another field of activity lies in the procedural enforcement before state courts and arbitral tribunals, where he is particularly specialized in technical plant-related disputes.

Law studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. First State Exam with honours. PhD at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (under Prof. Dr. Dagmar Coester-Waltjen) with summa cum laude honours. Recipient of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. Legal clerkship at Court of Appeal (Kammergericht) Berlin and in Wellington (New Zealand). Second State Exam with honours. Qualification as a business mediator.

Activities in the Federal Ministry of Economics (Department of European Law), at the law offices of Hengeler Mueller, Gleiss Lutz and Taylor Wessing in the area of business law. Research assistant at the Institute for International Law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University.
